Manar Hazza
Manar Hazaa is an Egyptian children's writer. She holds a master's degree from Harvard University in international education policy and a master's degree in anthropology from the American University in Cairo. Hazaa's recent academic research focuses on language, literacy, and parental involvement in education.
In 2018, in Cairo, Hazza founded the Storytelling Project for Children, a parent-led project aimed at fostering a culture of storytelling among children. Since the COVID-19 pandemic, the storytelling project has moved online, with sessions now conducted via Zoom. Manar currently serves as a teaching fellow at the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
